Hot Springs’ Majestic Park Baseball Complex to Host Great American Conference Baseball Tournament April 30 – May 3

HOT SPRINGS NATIONAL PARK, Arkansas — Hot Springs’ Majestic Park baseball complex, located on the historic site where Babe Ruth, Honus Wagner, Henry Aaron and Jackie Robinson once played and practiced, will again host the Great American Conference Baseball Tournament April 30 through May 3.

The top eight teams from the conference will compete on Majestic Park’s Babe Ruth Field for the 2026 conference championship.

Members of the GAC baseball conference are Arkansas-Monticello; Arkansas Tech; Harding; Southeastern Oklahoma State; Southern Arkansas; Henderson State; East Central; Northwestern Oklahoma State; Southwestern Oklahoma State; Ouachita Baptist; Oklahoma Baptist and Southern Nazarene.

“We are so excited to have the GAC Baseball Tournament back at Majestic Park once again,” said Majestic Park General Manager Derek Phillips. “We hosted the tournament once before in 2022 and look forward to another four days of top-flight collegiate competition on the best sports complex in the region.

“Hosting the GAC conference baseball tournament is a significant event for the park as it attracts teams and spectators alike. Our facility is a popular destination for sports enthusiasts as we host many varied activities and events throughout the year in April and May.”

Admission will be $10 for fans 7 and older. Kids 6 and younger will be admitted free. Majestic Park is located at 415 Carson Street in Hot Springs. Fans may follow the tournament scores and stats on www.majesticpark.org.

The schedule for the GAC Conference Tournament includes competition among the top eight-ranked teams:

Thursday, April 30
Bracket 1:
G1: #4 vs. #5, 9:30 a.m.
G2: #1 vs. #8, 1 p.m.
Bracket 2:
G1: #2 vs. #7, 4:30 p.m.
G2: #3 vs. #6, 8 p.m.

Friday, May 1
Bracket 1:
G3: L1 vs. L2, 9:30 a.m.
G4: W1 vs. W2, 4:30 p.m.
Bracket 2:
G3: L1 vs. L2, 1 p.m.
G4: W1 vs. W2, 8 p.m.

Saturday, May 2
Bracket 1:
G5: W3 vs. L4, 9:30 a.m.
G6: W4 vs. W5, 4:30 p.m.
Bracket 2:
G5: W3 vs. L4 1 p.m.
G6: W4 vs. W5, 8 p.m.

Sunday, May 3
Bracket 1:
G7: Second championship game (if necessary) time to be determined

Phillips said Majetic Park will host several tournaments this spring, including the CTS USSSA Baseball and PGF Fastpitch and The Weekend of Champions Arkansas baseball softball, and soccer finals.

“Visitors can plan their trip around these events and enjoy Hot Springs’ attractions while in our city,” Phillips said.
