Final Bridge Street LIVE Concert Canceled Due to Extreme Heat

HOT SPRINGS NATIONAL PARK, Arkansas — The final concert in the 2023 Bridge Street LIVE series, scheduled for Thursday [June 29], was canceled today [Monday, June 26] because of extreme heat forecast for the concert date.

“We’re disappointed to have to cancel Thursday’s free show, but we’re never going to place our thousands of Bridge Street LIVE fans in jeopardy,” Visit Hot Springs Marketing Director Bill Solleder said Monday morning. “We’ve just received notice from the Weather Service that dangerously high temperatures may be in store Thursday, so we’re canceling the show in time for fans to make other plans.”

The Bridge Street LIVE series, which began in 2021, features free live music, food, drinks, games and family fun in the Bridge Street Entertainment District at the intersection of Bridge Street, Convention Boulevard, Broadway and Malvern Avenue.

“We’re already planning the 2024 series, so we’ll be glad to welcome fans next June with a great lineup of musical acts,” Solleder said.
