Hot Springs’ 2023 Ad Campaigns Win Three Telly Awards From National Organization

HOT SPRINGS NATIONAL PARK, Arkansas — Hot Springs’ 2023 ad campaigns have received three Telly Awards from The Telly Awards organization, which recognizes excellence in video and television work around the world.

“We are honored to learn that our work on behalf of Hot Springs has been recognized for its effectiveness and creativity in spreading the word about our wonderful city and its activities and attractions,” Visit Hot Springs Marketing Director Bill Solleder said. “Our campaigns, created in partnership with our ad agency, CJRW, were honored alongside some pretty impressive company, including Netflix, Disney Parks, Paramount and the Golden State Warriors. That’s pretty cool.”

Hot Springs received a Gold Telly Award for the “Soak It Up” campaign in the Branded Content Campaign: Commercials category.

It received Silver Telly Awards for the “Hot Springs Water” campaign in the Local TV General: Travel/Tourism category and “Hot Springs Water” in the Online General: Travel/Tourism category.

“Our folks at Visit Hot Springs work every day to bring visitors to our city, whether they be tourists or attending meetings and conventions in Hot Springs,” Visit Hot Springs CEO Steve Arrison said. “These awards are recognition for all of them — Bill’s marketing team, the meetings folks, our visitor services team, the operations team and our support crew — for their efforts, in partnership with CJRW, to keep Hot Springs at the top of the list of tourism destinations in Arkansas. Congratulations to all of them.”

Earlier this year the Visit Hot Springs/CJRW team received three Hermes Awards for the “Soak It Up” campaign.

The Telly Awards are the world’s largest honor for video and television across all screens. The 2023 awards were selected from among 13,000 entries from all 50 states and five continents. The Telly Awards, founded 1979, annually showcases the best work created within television and across video, for all screens. Award winners represent work from some of the most respected advertising agencies, television stations, production companies and publishers from around the world. The Telly Awards recognizes work that has been created on the behalf of a client, for a specific brand and/or company or self-directed as a creative endeavor.

“The caliber of the work this season truly has reflected the theme of breaking out and standing out,” said The Telly Awards Executive Director Sabrina Dridje. “Our industry is experimenting with new technologies like never before, crafting truly compelling stories to draw attention to some of the world’s most pressing issues, and companies big and small are turning to more sustainable practices to break the cycle of past production processes.”
