Members of Hot Springs Hospitality Industry, Public Invited To Hear Longwoods Report on City’s Tourism on October 16

HOT SPRINGS NATIONAL PARK, Arkansas — Those involved in Hot Springs’ hospitality industry and members of the public are invited to a meeting October 16 to hear a report on the city’s tourism efforts from Longwoods International, the market research company.

The presentation will be held Monday, October 16, at 3 p.m. in Room 208 in the Hot Springs Convention Center.

“We contract with Longwoods every five years to conduct intensely detailed assessments of every aspect of Hot Springs’ tourism industry,” Visit Hot Springs CEO Steve Arrison said. “The detailed reports that Longwoods provides give all of us in Hot Springs a picture of what all of our efforts have produced and things we need to look at moving ahead to maintain our city’s position as Arkansas’s No. 1 tourism destination.”

“We encourage everyone — including the public — with a stake in Hot Springs’ economy to come hear Brian Screptock, director of Longwoods’ client services, report on the research and answer any questions about those results. It will be time well spent for all of us,” Arrison said.

“Visit Hot Springs and the Hot Springs Advertising and Promotion Commission will use the research findings as we plan and execute our work to keep Hot Springs at the forefront of tourism in the years ahead.”
